07:01 AM ET 07.26 | Greg Jennings will no longer have Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball, and he seems OK with that -- particularly from an association standpoint. "A lot of times when you have a guy who creates that spotlight for himself and establishes that and takes a lot of that, it becomes so-and-so and the team," he said. ... "And I think when you reach a point where you're not deferring any longer, it's no longer really about the team." Jennings paused and looked around. "Don't get me wrong, '12' is a great person. But when you hear all positives, all positives, all positives all the time, it's hard for you to sit down when one of your teammates says 'Man, come on, you've got to hold yourself accountable for this.' It's hard for someone to see that now because all they've heard is I'm doing it the right way."

Translation = AR stole my spotlight and I didn't like it one bit.

Just stop crying us a river Jennings!!!

'Wah wah, I had one of the top QBs in the game throwing me the ball AND everyone paid attention to him instead of me, Way wah'

PLEASE STOP!

Well Rodgers can't throw him the ball when he is in the sideline sitting with a broken leg.

He probably refers to Ponder as #7. Head injuries, ya know.

Get ready Christian Ponder... this is what you get to deal with this season.

I can't be the only person that read that article and still can't understand a word he's saying????

Someone sounds bitter.

July 26, 2013  08:46 AM ET

Jennings needs to do a discount double-check. And sneak back to Wisconsin to get some cheese to go with his whine.

July 26, 2013  09:07 AM ET

As long as the clinic in Miami does not mention him by name, then he probably could care less.

Love it. Nothing wrong with poking the bear. Especially a division rival. Problem is the bear usually wins.

Ponder is not even in the same class as Rodgers,

I'm sure I saw him in the back of the classroom, two seats back from the little girl with pigtails who said "That's not a job!"

He'll be even more bitter with scatter armed Ponder throwing to him.

July 26, 2013  09:54 AM ET

Too bad he doesn't realize if it was for AR he wouldn't gotten that fat new contract with the Queens.

Interesting way to say, "Thanks for drafting me, making me rich, giving me HOF caliber QBs, and a Super Bowl ring." The irony, is that he went to MN and was still loved by his GB base. And for some unknown reason seems hellbent on destroying that. Why? For what? Is he asking to be boo'd by those who used to look up to him? It plum don't add up.
