01:00 PM ET 07.26 | With the Major League Baseball trade deadline still a week away, teams are able to ramp up their pursuit and efforts of bolstering their line ups before the deadline passes. If the Atlanta Braves have their way, they will likely come away with Houston Astros starting pitcher Bud Norris. According to reports, the Braves are "actively pursuing" Norris as they look to add depth to their pitching rotation. Atlanta's rotation will be getting a boost in the near future when Brandon Beachy returns at 100 percent, but that apparently won't be enough to satisfy the team. Kris Medlen could take on a reliever role if the Braves add Norris.

Don't the Braves have something this good in the pipeline? This guy is well below average. I'm not sure how much his 1.4 WHIP is going to help them.
