09:24 AM ET 07.28 | One guy whose phone isn't ringing very much, but who might be talked into playing, despite an underwhelming year in San Francisco in 2012, is Randy Moss. The future Hall of Fame wide receiver has stayed in decent shape, people close to him say, and hasn't entirely written off playing again.

He is pretty much done but he won't refuse a contract if offered one.

He's a punk.

But, injuries in San Fran and Philly might help him get back in the league. Heck, I think the Jets are even dumb enough to give him a contract.

Yeah, they had this coach just a few years back that a number of people disliked. . .

The NFL has moved on from this guy. I think it is time the media did too.

But then somebody figured out that that, well.........he sucked. :-)

With the injuries to receivers that have and will happen, somebody will convince themselves he still has something to offer. He'll get a one year gig.

+1.

Someone will offer him a deal and then feel really bad about it the next morning.

Like an ugly blind date and a bottle of vodka.

July 28, 2013  10:35 AM ET

The Jets will call him...

July 28, 2013  10:38 AM ET

With Boldin there now the stable is full, Moss is headed toward 37, but he had a good career, but they have a QB who got more yards rushing than he did catching

July 28, 2013  11:53 AM ET

It will take a critical injury around week 4-7, where a team with a shot will consider him.

It might be the Pats. He didn't burn the place down when he left and he likes Brady.

QB's don't catch the ball.

The Texas Rangers can give him a minor league contract.

Well, they've stayed away from TO, so there's that...

I hear they have an opening for a personal protector on the punt team.

July 28, 2013  02:27 PM ET

Right situation and he could be productive!

July 28, 2013  02:43 PM ET

"Will Randy Moss play in 2013?"

Who gives a rat's arse? Might as well be talking about a TO comeback.

July 28, 2013  02:43 PM ET

Age 36. 28 receptions for 434 yards and 3 touchdowns. Answer No.

superbowl homeboy! I met this jerk while he was a rookie for the Vikings in training camp in Mankato MN and let's just say that the door knob on my door has more class than Moss does.
