10:30 AM ET 07.28 | The cousin of one of Georgia Tech all-time football greats, quarterback Joe Hamilton, is headed to the Yellow Jackets. Running back Caleb Kinlaw of Goose Creek, S.C., committed to Georgia Tech over Tennessee, North Carolina and Arizona on Friday. "First of all, my education is important," Kinlaw told the AJC. " Georgia Tech's education is top notch, compared to all these other universities that offered me. It's a good fit for me with football. I know the coaching staff has a lot of confidence in me. Also, Georgia Tech was recruiting me the hardest. So those are the reasons I'm going there." Kinlaw's cousin is Joe Hamilton, the Georgia Tech quarterback from Alvin, S.C., who earned All-America honors in 1999 and was the Heisman Trophy runner-up to Ron Dayne. Hamilton was recently hired as a recruiting assistant by the Yellow Jackets.
