10:41 AM ET 07.28 | A little birdie says the Wild lost $30 million during their abbreviated 2012-13 season, and a cash call was made to team investors in February. The Wild paid bonuses totaling $20 million to sign free agents Zach Parise and Ryan Suter.

Having Cap space and having money are two different things. LOL.

This team should be able to make money. They rank 11th in fan attendance (fairly solid), so I'm inclined to think they're simply not running the business very well. Raise the bar in the front office and lose the ugly unis.

Holy crap, they lost money? No way!

The contracts they gave Parise and Suter would verify they are not running things correctly. And those contracts are also why they ran a neg. The $20 million was just bonuses, before they even got to the salary of the team. No way they were making money this year (or maybe even next, or the next).

They should ask to borrow from Suter and Parise.

I think the Montreal 'jailbreakers' should have come in first.

The hideous green & red Christmas color scheme didn't work for the Devils, not sure why the Wild thought it would be different for them. It's not, it's still hideous.

Charlie Sheen could run it better - but he'd have pukin' migraines every home game.

Expect more of the same this coming season. That's what two overpaid players and a bunch of plumbers will do to you. Looks good on them.

Whatever happened to the Calgary Flames Bumble Bee unis? Surely they have to be Top Five!
