07:11 AM ET 07.31 | Even after more than 15 years in the NBA, Chauncey Billups still feels like he has something to prove -- to himself. "I'm 36 and I'm going to be 37 when the season starts," Billups said. "I've accomplished everything I tried to accomplish in basketball. So I don't have anything to prove. But to my own personal self, I want to end my career playing my position." ... [The Clippers] acquired shooting guard J.J. Redick to replace Billups, who played out of position alongside point guard Chris Paul. "I definitely wasn't disappointed," Billups said. "I didn't want to be a two-guard anyway. I did it there because it's a way for me to get on the floor. You are playing behind the best point guard in the league in Chris. "I never saw myself as a shooting guard. I never wanted to play it."

Wow! Would that mean that Jennings will be the SG? Not the right time to say this crap.

No Jennings will start a the PG and CB will either come off the bench or start at the 2 depending on Kentavious. He does need to kind of relax with his convo.

If he accepts being a back-up for 15-18 minutes per night he could be useful. But if he expects any more ? he will just hurt the team

Billups may surprise some people this year. With Brandon Jennings and Rodney Stuckey, 15-18 minutes is all they need from him.

Jennings, Smith, Stuckey - The bad boyz in the making. Will be some good matchups with the New York Thugs!

Can You Go Home Again, Bro?

Billups is very much like Kidd. They are ok defensively against big guards that try to post up, but he isn't nowhere what he used to be guarding PG's. He is coming off the bench but I think they will play 2 guard rotations where him and Jennings are on the floor, or him and Stucky/Pope
