PJ Hairston suspended indefinitely

11:17 AM ET 07.31 | In a move that frankly surprised no one, the University of North Carolina suspended swingman PJ Hairston indefinitely from their basketball team on Monday. The move came as a result of traffic stop that saw Hairston driving a reported 93 miles per hour in a 65 MPH zone while operating his girlfriend's car late Sunday night. This was far from the first transgression for Hairston, as he has at least two issues surrounding a rental car in the last month or so, and the heat was already mounting around the Tar Heels star. The previous issues would explain the swiftness of the dismissal (he was suspended just hours following the traffic incident), but there doesn't seem to be a read on his future availability.

Kid might have a NASCAR future if he can fit in the cockpit.

Way to piss away your opportunities PJ. I'm really surprised that UNC would recruit a guy with such shaky character in the first place.
