07:14 AM ET 08.01 | A good summer is getting even better for 6-foot-7 Marcus Landry. The Lakers still need to add players to their roster and [Landry] could be next. On Wednesday, Landry's twitter account suggested he's already part of the team: @Mlandry11 ... "I thank God for this Opportunity to be apart of a great organization #lakers #HardWorkPaysOff #itsallGod" ... While he hasn't been signed just yet, the Lakers were happy with his performance in Las Vegas as part of their summer league squad, where he averaged 15.2 points a game while shooting 42.1% from the field and 37.1% from behind the arc. Landry recently told The Times he's a fan of Mike D'Antoni's offense. "I've shown what I'm capable of doing and doing it in a system, that's a wonderful system," said Landry.

Absolutely. The Lakers are STACKED with Kobe, Pau Gasol, and Steve Nash - all locks for the HOF.Now they are landing Landry, and maybe the Lakers see some potential in him as well. After the Lakers won the title in '09 and '10, they've fallen a bit short, but with Nash coming back from injury, and signing new players like Landry - watch out ! They could win the title again this coming year !LOL.

There must be some really good weed in San Francisco these days.

Never heard of him.......But if he's a laker, he clearly is a HOF to-be

Was a one time Knick to be but didn't make the cut before the season started...
