07:20 AM ET 08.01 | Louisville was reminded Wednesday that things can change with a prospect's verbal commitment. Ballard High School point guard Quentin Snider, who had been committed to the University of Louisville basketball team for nearly two years and was the first member of the Cardinals' 2014 class, made a surprising announcement on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, saying that he is reopening his recruitment. ... "He's been kind of going back and forth this past month," Scott Snider said. "There's just a lot of guards (at U of L). Everybody still wants him to go to Louisville. The family does, and we hope Louisville still recruits him. I don't know if they will or not, but he just wants to make sure it's the best fit for him, basically."

Kid sounds like he's starting to worry about his ability to compete for PT. Not a good sign for him as a player, if I was a coach and heard this I'd be thinking he might not wanna earn his spot, which may or may not be actually true.
