11:54 AM ET 08.01 | On Wednesday, the NFL announced some big changes to the Pro Bowl that eliminates kickoffs and the AFC vs. NFC formats, but the positive reaction that they were hoping for has yet to come. Instead, many fans and players alike have questioned why the changes were made and if they really help to improve the NFL's version of the all-star game. The latest person to question the league's changes and express his unhappiness was Chicago Bears receiver/return man Devin Hester.

Hockey's just kickin' our **** in the ratings. Quick, let's start doing things like they do!

The reason no one cares about the Pro Bowl is because it's not a football game. All this does is reinforce that mindset.

It's a free trip to Hawaii for a bunch of guys who toss the ball around and play grabass.

Yes, Devin, and millions of fans across the country are unhappy when you are tasked with catching a pass.

The next step is not playing the game at all. Not that it matters one way or another.

Just cancel the game already.

It's not a game anyway... it's a disgraceful joke.

No I think the new format has true entertainment possibilities they just need to be exploited to the max. So how about, after a week of drinking and laying around the pool the guys all meet up at Aloha stadium, do a schoolyard pick put on some uniforms and play. No practice, all plays drawn up in the dirt during the huddle. Oh yeah and heavy amounts of drinking would be encouraged throughout the entire game. Now you're talking some good TV!!

And maybe we can do some kind of cross-promotion and hold the Lingerie Pro Bowl at the same time? Co-ed teams? Shirts and skins?

My two cents on the pro bowl and ti relates to basketball really. There is absolutely no d in basketball all star game. Its a slam dunk contest so NO ONE GETS HURT.

Mr Goodall. The players are not stupid enough to risk and ACL or career ending injury over any type of game you refer to as the Pro Bowl. If someone picks AD to one of the teams and he would have made it anyways, what is the change?
He still doesn't want to get hurt and no one is going to try and tackle him.

Should have dropped the game all together and come up with a contest of the best players for money. QB's throwing ball through tires, all kind of neato events that the guys would actually compete in for the bucks.

Devin .... Chicago fans are unhappy whenever you're unhappy so, get over it before the season starts. Fans want to see a "Happy Hester" returning balls.

This I would watch. But QBs standing around hucking balls are relatively risk free. You wouldn't be able to do the same sort of competitions with runners, because just sprinting and/or cutting can blow out tendons or muscles. Same thing if it was like a 'tractor push' for linemen. All it would take is one guy missing a game because he tweaked his back going for the big money and no one would ever try again.

But I do think getting LBs to converge on the dot from a giant laser pointer would make for some fun.

Devin worry about winning the division and don't go to The Pro Bowl!!!
