07:15 AM ET 08.02 | John Wall picked up his max deal this week in a deal that moved him to tears. @MrMichaelLee: John Wall broke down as he described the sacrifices his mother, Frances Pulley, made for him to be here. Pulley wiped tears from her eyes. ... John Wall's deal is for full 5 years, with no option. He can also get 30% of salary cap (the mega max) if he wins MVP next season ... Leonsis on Wall: "If there is an inevitability to what you're having to do, why not turn it into a positive & say: 'You're our guy...?'" ... Wall: "If you're not winning what's the point of getting the contract? You're still going to get your $ but you're not going to have no fun" ... Wall on leading #wizards to title: "I know we're a long way from there, but that's my main goal before my career is done, to win one here."
