08:28 PM ET 08.03 | It's been a rough year for the hamstring. The San Francisco Giants lost outfielder Angel Pagan for the season after he underwent hamstring surgery, this after initial reports listed the injury is "minor." The Los Angeles Dodgers lost Matt Kemp for over a month thanks to a hamstring strain which at the time was considered nothing more than a "day to day" issue. Now it's the New York Mets' turn, who have lost All-Star third baseman David Wright for three-to-five weeks.

He's got to take better care of his body and start respecting his age!

I know a team that would trade the Mets a third baseman, and they'd do it on the cheap.

What is he doing playing with a strained hammy. He pulls that hamstring and he will be out for weeks. Its not like a position that doesn't require a lot of quick later movement or have to charge a ground ball.
