Pistons could still flip Jennings ... for Rondo

07:14 AM ET 08.05 | The Celtics have over the years whittled away at the Big Three, choosing to move on entirely this summer and leave the Celtics in the hands of Rajon Rondo. Just because the Pistons acquired Brandon Jennings in a sign-and-trade deal with the Bucks doesn't mean they've lost interest in [Rondo]. In fact, they could eventually use Jennings as a trade chip and seek to acquire Rondo. There are going to be several interested parties in Rondo, and that number could increase when he shows he's fully recovered from anterior cruciate ligament surgery.

Dumar isn't smart enough to pull it off.

I dunno.....seems Rondo played a significant role in making the Celtics the team they are today.....

Maybe letting him go would be a pretty smart (even if belated) move on his part.

You got a good head case and now the Cs will be trading for a very bad head case w/ nothing to show for. Why would the Cs trade for Jennings?

Maybe you didnt notice that the article is from the globe. Joe will give this team a chance to jell but if not then you make the trade its as simple as that. We have until Feb to make it happen. Besides it will never happen as long as Boston keeps asking for Drummond. I personally do not want Rondo.

Last year, we had none.

So... this is better.

The Celtics won't do it straight up for Rondo. They will have to include Drummond to get the deal done.

Jennings is good, but they have almost polar opposite games, I'd agree, Rondo for Jennings not ur best Idea..

The Bucks were smart to get rid of Jennings.

Very smart and they got a younger PG who is willing to listen and learn. Attitude is a very big part of being a coachable PG.
