07:31 AM ET 08.06 | Given a second crack at joining the team, Jarome Iginla took Boston up on the opportunity, but the intros will have to wait until his arrival. Iginla's current deal is for one year, with a base salary of $1.8 million and performance bonuses built in up to $4.6 million. The Bruins can go over the cap in combined player performance bonuses up to $4.8 million, allowing General Manager Peter Chiarelli more breathing room than, say, a $6 million base salary one-year deal. "It's actually a very good gesture by Jarome similar to the one Mark Recchi made two years in a row that is a cap friendly deal," [Chiarelli said]. ... And similar to Recchi, Iginla has his sights on being in Boston longer than just 2013-14. "I know that's getting ahead, but it's something [where] you want to find a home, too," said the forward.

After sticking it to the Flames and the Pens, I don't know if I can trust this guy.

He didn't really stick it to the Pens. They missed handled him and made him play his off wing and kept him away from Crosby which he was led to believe would be playing with. Can't blame him for bolting.
But yeah he did stick it to the Flames making them take less to send him to the Pens.

Agree. The Pens totally messed up with him. He's definitely past his prime, but they way they played him took away from the game he has left.

And counting...

Only two months until puck drop, 3 months til they're out of the playoff race. Aren't you excited?

Yep, time's going quickly. I haven't even picked their elimination date yet.
