07:12 AM ET 08.07 | The Knicks, who on Tuesday signed free agent big man Jeremy Tyler, may not be done yet. New York's top free-agent priority remains Beno Udrih, according to sources familiar with the team's thinking. They will bring in guard Bobby Brown for a workout in New York on Wednesday, a league source said. The Knicks showed interest in Brown earlier in the summer, working out the former EuroLeague standout in Las Vegas. Brown has signed a contract with the Dongguan Leopards in China, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein. The deal has an out clause that would allow Brown to sign with an NBA team before Aug. 15. If not, he will be playing in China in 2013-14. It is believed that the Knicks will not sign another point guard until they hear from Udrih. But Brown's deadline may force them to make a decision.

Forget the Knicks. Trade Melo. Blow up the team and rebuild. This time THE RIGHT WAY.

Udrih would be a good backup...

AGAIN wtf is Indy doing? This is like the last remnants of backup PGs and they are sitting quiet.

Yeah, but NY already has a back up pgNot sure why he'd go there, for a vet minimum, AND be the 3rd string pgI gotta believe there's an offer out there where he'd at least be assured of playing a bit more

I think he'll be the 2nd string PG. he is a pretty steady PG and does attack the basket.

but NY re-signed pablo alreadyHaven't seen much of beeno cook recently, but, IMO, NY or any team....if they are signing a 10th man+I don't see the point in signing older guys that are past their primessign a young guy that might develop into something.* especially a team like NY- which has limited options cause of the cap

I agree let's get our back-ups to be younger - They just did a great job in signing an up and comer big man in Tyler - they should do the same with Toure Murry, He's a 6'5" combo PG/SG who can handle the rock and can be gotten just as cheaply as Tyler or maybe Bobby Brown (Not that Bobby!!) who is 28 and can be a solid PG back up as well.

My Knicks are a rudderless ship. A team held together by spit and chewing gum. Band Aids atop gaping wounds. OH THE HUMANITY!

C'mon Doc - Wait until the middle of the season if they truly suck before you jump ship like JGB has already done... I think he's even *gasp* thought about becoming a Cav's fan....!!

Now that is really: OH THE HUMANITY...!!!

Doc and I are sharing a lifeboat....though he is making me rowthere is room for you.- I cannot promise though that the port of call isn't on lake erie-

LMFAO - Listen you stayed true to the team throughout the disappointment in the Bulls domination era , the loss to the Spurs, the Isiah Thomas debacle and as recently the Dumbtoni chronicles, then you can survive the JR Smith re-sign and Bargs trade.

Man - I really think they are going to surprise the naysayers this year brother...!!

Stay on course..!!

Knicks won 53 games and 2nd seed after yrs of missing the playoffs. Knicks hasn't missed a playoff since Melo. The only think holding Knicks back is Amare's contract.

Did freaking Isiah come back? The moves the Knicks are making seem very questionable. IMO.

I think the team we have is worth giving a chance. We don't have the best talent but we're not overly matched against the best either. There's a lot of teams that are stacked and are bound to get disappointed because there's only one championship.

MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN. As for Udrih I care less if we get him or Brown. Is Udrih even a good defender...

You're right. But what can they do about that while Melo is still here? We've hit a wall.
