Michigan legacy may flip from Penn State

07:30 AM ET 08.08 | If the name sounds familiar in Ann Arbor, that's because it's lodged in Wolverines lore. During the 1979 Homecoming game against Indiana, a last-second pass to Anthony Carter gave U-M a big victory -- and a famous line from longtime broadcaster Bob Ufer. "Johnny Wangler to Anthony Carter will be heard until another 100 years of Michigan football is played!" Ufer exclaimed. Now, not only does John Wangler have one son headed to Ann Arbor, but a second has the opportunity to follow in dad's footsteps. Although he committed to Penn State earlier this summer, Jared Wangler, a 2014 linebacker from Warren De La Salle, picked up a U-M offer Saturday. ... [Said Jared Wangler:] "It's definitely something I am going to consider, but as of right now, I have not made any decisions."

If you mean the one where the rehabbed seal is being release back into the water with the sling, and the shark jumps and eats him, yeah, that one is great.

That ad was hilarious. Funnier still was the outrage that ad generated from some folks.

Me and 2 of my kids (daughter 13, and son 8) totally busted out laughing the first time we saw it. I figured there would be some backlash on it but my kids replayed it 3-4 times and laughed harder each time.

Only Michigan could celebrate a last second pass to be INDIANA (?) for 100 years.

Perhaps, 100 years ago, Indiana had a big bad football team. The game was still young in 1913.

That was one of the single greatest moments in Michigan history. Just before that play, Ricks threw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock and Lee Corso caught it. (he was coach of Indy at the time)
