02:43 PM ET 08.08 | While the first round of the 2013 PGA Championship is not yet complete, a number of golfers have finished their first 18 holes of the tournament. Jim Furky holds the lead after shooting an impressive 65, while Tiger Woods was once two shots behind the leader and faded late in the tournament. Woods finished his first round with a double-bogey that sent him to one-over. He now finds himself in some trouble after his collapse over the final seven holes.

Funny to hear about a "collapse" on the first day of the tournament. However, the way he played the final hole was very odd.

I hear Charlie Rymer committed hari-kiri after Tiger's 18th....

Come on, media folks....it's ONE bad hole. I'm no fan of The 'Drick by any means, but despite what the golf media think, he's not perfect and should bounce back today, hopefully to shoot a pair of 73's on the weekend. :)

The players are sticking their approach shots this afternoon as a result of the morning rain softening the greens.

I'm no fan of Tont, but I do agree with you. Seems to me that the media /sycophants could ease up on Tiger's nutsack and let things happen before they anoint him. That being said, he is going to need a bunch of guys to have serious meltdowns tomorrow to be a factor on Sunday.

Hey Rex I don't know what was a tougher thing for your boy to do yesterday. The Eagle off the fairway or the high 5's and big smile when he did it. He sure shot a beauty round. Looks like Tont will have to wait another year to start closing in on Jack.
