07:13 AM ET 08.09 | Tebow Nation awaits the answer. Will Tebow Time in New England officially begin Friday night when the Patriots face the Eagles in the exhibition opener? The team is playing coy, of course. Bill Belichick has not said how he plans to use his quarterbacks, or whether Tom Brady or Tim Tebow will even play. The Eagles announced Thursday that Michael Vick will start against the Patriots, and that Nick Foles will start their second preseason game. All that is clear is that Ryan Mallett figures to get a lot of action Friday night. After Thursday's walk-through practice, Tebow said he's not even sure he will get in the game. "I don't know, it's not something we've really talked about," he said. According to Tebow, Belichick told him, "Just be ready when your number is called."

Nobody, particularly not quarterbacks, plays full games in pre-season. I'd expect to see all 3 QBs in the game at some time.

As for "be ready," that's part of the Patriot mantra. When Bledsoe went down, Brady was ready. No one had to tell him.

EXACTLY!! Be ready for the unexpected. That's why the Pats have been pretty successful just plugging in bodies when needed.

This will be the best PS game of the weekend.

I'd expect to see #s 2 & 3 a lot and #1 not much at all.

I think he meant when the " roll is called up yonder." Had nothing to do with football at all.

You're not keeping up. Brady says he wants to play until he's 50.

Yes it is !!

Hoodie has made some questionable choices the past 2 years (Hernandez extension, Welker devaluation, bringing back McDaniels) I don't think this is one of them.

yet another uninformed TROLL!!!

This might be more about BB than it is about Tebow. I think the Hoodie would get a kick out of showing that he could develop and use Tebow productively, use him to beat the Jets twice, and rub Rex Ryan's face in it.
