07:24 AM ET 08.13 | A new season dawns, as does a new day of sorts for Jerry Kill. [Kill] has come to a pivotal juncture in his eight-year quest to gain control of his seizures. The Gophers need to keep improving, and he needs to prove he can stay healthy. Knowing the stakes, he found a new doctor, changed medication plans, honed his diet, exercised and adopted a whole new outlook -- embracing the word epilepsy instead of shunning it. ... [Said Kill:] "I want to make sure I never have a situation, ever, during a game again." Experts say about 70 percent of the people with epilepsy can become seizure-free with the right medication. Kill insists he's making progress. Asked how many seizures he's had since November, Kill declined to say.

He's a pretty good coach. I hope he stays healthy.

Kill's real test will be coming into Aggie Memorial Stadium 9/7 to take on NMSU. I'll be there to see whether another upset will shock the CFB world.

Ditto. Good on ya, coach, for putting your health higher on your list of priorities.

I'm an embarrassment to myself with every move, word, and post. My family has disowned me going out to my third cousins. I can't keep a job. My neighbors have restraining orders to keep me off their property. I'm banned from every bar, restaurant, and mini mart extending two towns in every direction. Children run from me and dogs snarl at me. Only online do I have a voice (anonymous though it may be). Do you realize how easy it is troll on the Internet?

Fixed it.

Since you engage in flame trolling, shouldn't be surprised or outraged by the responses you get. Your commentary about Coach Kill's epilepsy was, at the very least, gratuitous and abusive. You write a lot of provocative thoughts, BC, but with little of it thought-provoking. You need to get away from the shock-jock shtick and compose yourself and your writings with some decorum in mind for your audience here on FN. Otherwise you're just setting yourself up for a 51st banning.

If I wanted your measly nothing opinion I would just beat it out of you. Get a life jack.

Distinguishing fact from opinion is reflective of higher level thinking skills. I see you're still operating in the concrete. So be it.

Kill is an embarrassment to Minnesota and needs to be let go. Do you realize how easy it is to recruit against Minnesota in football with pass out Jerry Kill taking swan dives on the sidelines on TV?? Think how easy it is to recruit against the shrimp basketball manager little no bounce Pitino in basketball?? Nice hires Minnesota.

FYI- Just saving your comment for the record.
