07:08 AM ET 08.14 | Having landed in Houston, Dwight Howard has in Hakeem Olajuwon and Kevin McHale, two of the best low-post players in history, in his ear and at his disposal. "Having these guys in my backyard and have them pushing me to the limit is just going to make me better," said Howard after his 90-minute workout [on Monday] wrapped up. "It's not about emulating Dream. That's the thing. We get caught up in comparing players, trying to do what this guys does just because you work with him. The thing is, when you workout with a guy like Hakeem or Kevin McHale, you take away certain things. You don't try to do everything they can do. I could workout with Michael Jordan, but I'm not going to be able to shoot the fadeaway like Michael Jordan."

He needs to learn to be a good teammate first

Howard is going to be the next GREAT center.

He will always be criticized if he doesn't produce this year. His teammates also need to produce for them to get to the next level.

"Having these guys in my backyard and have them pushing me to the limit is just going to make me better"

but he cried when Kobe was doing this same thing.

Kobe learned the fadeaway from Jordan just by studying tape.

Kobe wasn't "friendly" enough.

"Howard: 'It's not about emulating Dream'"...

Good. Since you weren't worthy to carry Shaq's shoes, it's best to not shoot for a spot in Hakeem's world...

That's because Kobe only has five rings to Olajuwon's ...

He kept trying to push Howard under the "Buss".

Howard leaving LA is getting as bad a reputation as Lebron going to South Beach. Fans are so sour for both decisions...lol

One was a marriage for 7 years and the other was a 1 year courtship...lol

Neither was General Douglas MacArthur or

George S. Patton or

Col. Nathan R. Jessup... or was it Jack Nicholson?

Except in Howard's case it was almost like a shotgun marriage and he became a runaway bride.

People in Toronto would be in an uproar over Bosh leaving but still haven't figured out that he left...
