07:19 AM ET 08.14 | Personally, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant doesn't hold any ill will toward Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. But Bryant, who was suspended before his junior at Oklahoma State for lying to NCAA about a legal dinner with Deion Sanders, said he would be mad if Manziel wasn't suspended for receiving cash payments for signing autographs, as has been alleged in numerous reports of late. "[H---] yeah, I'll be mad," Bryant said. "I will be mad. But I don't want him to get suspended. I will be mad more at the NCAA on how they do things. I just feel like it's not fair. This is something I have no problem talking about because I feel like somebody needs to say something to him and let it be known how they treat people is not right."

Dez Bryant. Now there's a credible source!

Mouthed off to his coach and got suspended, hung out with an agent and got suspended, got banned from a mall for pants on the ground, ran up a $246K unpaid jewelry bill, spent $56K at a restaurant one night, detained for a skirmish outside Club Liv, arrested for assaulting his mother ...

Here's your spokesperson, Johnny!

Ok now to the substance of the thread. If Terrelle Pryor and my Buckeyes got what they got for the tatt crap then let's see if we get some consistency for Johnny Football.

The NCAA's English dictionary does not contain the word "consistency".

But on a more eye-appealing note, Hot Clicks is doing very well today. Hubba hubba!

the substance of Dez's issue is lying to investigators

even though its not a criminal offense, I do like the fact that the ncaa delivers the hammer to people they catch in lies; their version of prosecution for perjury

Well, that's more of a "legal" way to pay for services, right?

This....

I think the NCAA was more making a point to tell the truth when asked. Sort of like lying to a court of law...might not be a big deal case, but the lying will land you in more trouble.

Once you understand that the NCAA uses a dart board to determine penalties, then it all makes sense.

Manziel has disgraced college football and Texas A&M with his childish immature idiotic behavior. But obviously Johnny has had little or no parental guidance and a poor upbringing devoid of teaching proper behavior and manners. Blame his father who has issues with A&M.

oh jeez....... here we go with the race card

Damn good point!!! Ohio State and USC took their punishment and moved on. Most of us college footbal fans want "consistency"!!!

Agreed that there needs to be consistency. However, I don't think JM is going to be suspended... He is still loved by so many and in their eyes, he simply cannot do wrong. People are looking more at the fact that JM can't sell his autograph instead of the fact that everyone and their mom knows that it is against the rules. A rule is a rule whether JM likes it or not.

I think it is clear than day that he took the money but just something tells me he is going to walk.
