07:12 AM ET 08.15 | Michigan freshman running back Derrick Green is back -- and without restrictions. Green, who was forced to miss practice due to a minor injury last week, was back with the team during a fully-padded workout Wednesday according to coach Brady Hoke. ... "He's doing some things," Hoke said of Green. "He came back probably a little earlier than he should have, but he wanted to play. He showed a couple flashes." The 5-foot-11, 240-pound Green -- a five-star recruit and the No. 1-ranked running back prospect in the 2013 class -- is expected to push fifth-year senior Fitz Toussaint for the staring halfback spot when the Wolverines open the season on Aug. 31. And now that he's back at full strength, he's got roughly two and a half weeks to pull even -- or ahead -- of his upperclassman teammate.

Sadly, my tongue-in-cheek take on the Angry Weasel's RB situation didn't go over too well with the TSUN faithful.

Michigan RB race to see whom gets to have their helmet knocked off, dreds flying, and fumbling the ball against Clowney this year?

Yes, please.....

The name Fitz Toussaint seems better suited to a chef or artist than college running back.

Seriously another thread about this? In other news Brady Hoke went running off the practice field in what can only be described as a hurry. We are assuming some type of health scare. Luckily he returned 10 minutes later holding a news paper under his arm.

Are you suggesting that your wolvereeeens have not had any players arrested since Hoke arrived? Don't pretend that your program is squeaky clean there fella!

Difference is when they are arrested, they sit out games, no matter the team they are playing. The latest set of arrests for OSU will be the first I know of where they actually punish them. Every other time I know of they checked with the players to make sure it was ok first.
