07:18 AM ET 08.16 | From Alabama to Oregon, new, eight-figure football offices offer recruiting gems, and Utah now has its own jewel. Just beyond the leather-cushioned locker cubicles and beneath the rotunda, and down the hall from the barber shop and players' lounge, and within smelling distance of the flatiron steaks, trout almondine, wild rice, clam chowder, pasta and salads, stood Jeremiah Poutasi, the Ute lineman everyone recruited. So I asked: Is Utah's $32 million Spence and Cleone Eccles Football Center enough -- by itself -- to get an 18-year-old to commit? "I just turned 19," he said, pausing to think it through. He made an anything-can-happen shrug. "It might." The Utes unveiled their facility to the media and public on Thursday, and it didn't disappoint.

Gotta compete with the BYUers, so as long as they don't ban sex in the building, they oughtta be good to go.

Tuition and/or fee increase.

Been happening at my daughter's college. Unveiled a new stadium last year and add-on fees went out the roof. But it's totally unrelated to football.

Oh ... I thought the school was paying their football players now. $32M is a bit much for a center. TOO much for a QB too! LOL 8-)

<Yawn>

In my non-caffeinated sleepiness, I thought the Utes had done a CFB take-off on "The Six Million Dollar Man." So how much to amp up a wide receiver?
