07:16 PM ET 08.16 | Cleveland Browns running back Dion Lewis suffered a fractured left fibula during the team's Thursday night game against the Detroit Lions and there is a chance that he could now miss the remainder of the season. Lewis will be undergoing surgery on his broken leg in the near future at which time doctors would be able to better gauge whether or not he will be capable of returning to the team by the end of the season. Lewis was one of the most impressive training camps and preseason performers for the Browns over the past few weeks and he had a firm grasp on the No. 2 running back job with Montario Hardesty still recovering from an injury of his own. Without Lewis and Hardesty, the team will lean on Brandon Jackson and Miguel Maysonet in the backup role.
