07:25 PM ET 08.16 | New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will make his preseason debut on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The Pro Bowl wideout is in the beginning of what will end up being a contract season after he and the Giants have been unable to strike a long-term deal to this point. Nicks missed the Giants' first preseason game with a groin injury that has been bothering him since the start of training camp. In 2011, Nicks had his best season and his second straight 1,000+ yard receiving season, as he caught 76 passes for 1,192 yards (15.7 yards per catch average) and seven touchdowns and helped lead the G-Men to their second Super Bowl title in four years. Starters will play about 20 snaps and the second string will play 25 snaps, Giants Head Coach Coughlin has said regarding this week's game.

Good hands, good receiver. Should be talked about more than Cruz but he doesn't do a good enough salsa dance. For that alone, he should go where he'd be appreciated.

Or can and chooses not to

He's not mentioned because he's had trouble staying healthy the past season. Great talent and has shown he can do it when he's playing, so hopefully he can get past the injuries. Going to get some serious money if he puts together a healthy season.

They appreciate him all right. Why do you think they held the line on how much they would give Cruz? Because they think Nicks has more value.

I believe in Texas and thirty other States you can buy a tank at a tank show , no background check required, and go public with it. HHeelll on the roads, but great for hunting as long as you do not need the meat.

If the Giants are going to make a run, Hakeem will play a most important role in the success of their offense, when healthy, he's outstanding!
