08:44 AM ET 08.17 | Milwaukee Brewers embattled left fielder Ryan Braun plans to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Braun, according to people who are familiar with his plans, is ready to soon admit that he used performance-enhancing drugs in parts of the 2011 season, the reasons why he did it, and publicly apologize for the lies and deception. People familiar with the plans, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because Braun has yet to make the announcement, said he has begun sending apologies to baseball officials, and is expected to express remorse in the statement. It's unclear what specifics will be in the statement.

Shut up and go away. You're a scumbag. A scumbag is all you will every be.

You became a scumbag the moment you attacked Laurenzi instead of quietly counting yourself lucky by getting off on a technicality.

Not only that, Braun is also willing to admit and apologize for everyone else who doesn't get caught. Talk about a slam dunk for MLB

About a year late; live with the fact that you tried to destroy an innocent person to cover up your lies.

A dollar short and a day late, Braun.

I will do it for him " I made a bad decision in the past. I regret it. Arod made me do it, ask Bud. I never knew about the stuff before. I thought I was getting a flu shot. "

The interesting part is his old college buddy who is taking him to court. Wonder if he will admit to the doping while in college at Miami? Nah. I know, never never never happened.

I'll believe this when his lying lips are moving.

I'm sure he's got a lot of remorse. For getting caught. For losing money, friendships, endorsements, respect and any chance of being viewed as anything other than a lying, cheating douchehammer. But I doubt he has any real remorse for the reasons he should.

I would say the way he lambasted the specimen handler pretty much attests to your last sentence - his only remorse? Getting caught.

He is just jealous that A-Rod is getting more attention than he is.

He probably plans to squeal out more names in this alleged apology......."I'm sorry I was using PEDs with person A, person B, person C etc
He's got sonething up his sleeve and it isn't nice.

For a society based on forgiveness (see: Christianity), you all sure are an unforgiving bunch.
