10:03 AM ET 08.17 | Washington Redskins general manager Bruce Allen said there is no controversy between coach Mike Shanahan and quarterback Robert Griffin III, a relationship that continues to be dissected -- by the day and the word. Shanahan has said he doesn't care if Griffin likes him, that it only matters if he respects him. Griffin, who has publicly questioned Shanahan's plan for him, maintained there is no rift or conflict between the two. "We have a very competitive player who's dying to play football, and we have an experienced coach who is doing the right thing," Allen said. "I know somewhere Billy [Kilmer] and Sonny [Jurgensen] are laughing that we created a quarterback controversy with Robert Griffin."

Think that was the year Sonny broke his leg.

George Allen never liked Sonny. Thought he didn't look athletic enough.

Billy Kilmer looked too out of shape to be on a bowling team. But he could sling it.

My recall was Billy was a little thick in the middle. Sonny always seemed to get hurt, Kilmer was a great backup QB.

Tebow suffers from total lack of confidence. He may learn from Brady.

That is true. And smart of him. His play on the field would get most guys released, if he was a **** of it he would have been long gone.
