11:09 AM ET 08.18 | Alabama sophomore cornerback Geno Smith was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Tuscaloosa early Sunday morning. The Tuscaloosa News first reported the arrest. Smith is projected to be a key defensive back for the defending champion Crimson Tide at the "Star" position after starting two games and playing in all 13 in 2012.

Its easily preventable to not drunk and drive,, drink and drive happens everywhere all the time.

Having a couple of players get in trouble in a season is not a big deal; they are college kids.
But am I correct that more than a couple of 'Bama players have had legal issues in the past year?
Is Nick trying for a new trophy, "The Urban Meyer SEC Most Team Arrests Award"? What a competitive guy Nickie must be!
