04:07 PM ET 08.19 | Current Dallas Mavericks big man DeJuan Blair is a pretty quiet and calm fellow, though, he recently had no problem voicing his displeasure with sitting at the end of the San Antonio Spurs bench. Blair, a former star at Pittsburgh was drafted by the Spurs in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft, not due to a lack of talent but rather health concerns -- he has no ACLs. Unhappy with his role, Blair departed the Alamo and made sure to give a parting shot on his way out, suggesting the Spurs would have defeated the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals had he played more.

I agree Manu was the cause for Spurs self-destruction. What's more mind boggling is them bringing him back for 2 more years. Insanity.

That being said, Blair should shut his pie hole. Being delusional along with no ACLs is kinda dangerous.

No ACL's? Wow. I guess he's going to need a really big wheelchair later in life.

He's right.

Every player in the NBA, NFL or MLB should be confident in their abilities and believe that they could contribute to the teams success. No problem with D.B. thinking that way and since he is no longer a Spur there is no reason not to speak his mind...

Unless they replaced the basketball with a sandwich, I dont see how Blair would have made any type of impact on the outcome of any game of that series....
