01:54 PM ET 08.20 | Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell was given every opportunity to win the team's starting job after being selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft, but injuries have stopped Bell from taking over the role that the Steelers had hoped he could fill. Bell was slowed in training camp with a minor knee injury, but he finally had the opportunity to show his skill on the field during the team's second preseason game against the Washington Redskins. Unfortunately, after being handed the ball on four straight carries, Bell left the field with a foot injury. He was diagnosed with a mid-foot sprain and will undergo an MRI today to ensure he does not have the dreaded Lisfranc injury.

Are there always this many pre-season injuries? Seems like there is a sniper in the stands or something.
