07:19 AM ET 08.21 | Clearly, whatever the future holds for Major League Baseball and Alex Rodriguez, extra innings of back-and-forth seem to be in store. Rodriguez, who has already apologized to Yankees teammates, plans to adopt a stance that he no longer will answer any questions, or address any issues, beyond the playing field. ... [It's] hard to know what to believe these days. A person close to Rodriguez, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the topic, told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday that Rodriguez rejected a 100-game ban from MLB days before the announcement of his 211-game suspension and has a standing offer of 150 games. Joe Tacopina, one of Rodriguez's attorneys, reiterated Tuesday that Rodriguez "wants his day in court." MLB denies there is an active offer.

It probably ISN'T a "standing" offer, not now at least.... LET THIS GET TO CIVIL COURT (I hope). Let the underwear flap in the breeze.........

I just noticed something - they've integrated key word advertising. And it is blowing up the scripts.... no wonder this site has gone to pot.

HEY FANNATION - YOU HAVE HOSED YOUR SITE SCRIPTING BY IMPLEMENTING KEY WORD ADVERTISING. REFERENCE Comment #4. THIS SITE IS NOW TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE - THE ONLY WAY I GET ANYTHING TO WORK IS WITH THE Compatibility Button in IE - IF THAT WORKS. PLEASE FIX THIS SITE. The Last button feature doesn't work either.......

I think A-Rod is much more comfortable with the zero game ban. He has already settled on it

No, to give him and braun 100 games would have been the right thing to do, but that was never Buds intention. Braun got the fake slap, the others got the 50 games via the bargaining agreement, no details leaked about any of them, and Arod was to be the poster boy when the dust had settled to make it look like all is well now and we found the only cheaters that just happened to pass all our other drug tests but fortunately they just happened to all use the same clinic. What were the odds?

Being one of A Roid's many attorneys must be like hitting the lottery.
