07:28 AM ET 08.21 | After leaving the NHL for a spell, returning to play for Philadelphia, Boston and Dallas over the past few seasons, Jaromir Jagr may finally be ready to call it a career. [Jagr] took to social media on Tuesday and indicated that next season may be his last in the NHL. Speaking to fans on his official Facebook page, the 41-year-old said that he will likely hang up the skates at the conclusion of the upcoming season. "It looks like it will be my last season, so I can't be too risky," Jagr wrote. Jagr signed a one-year, $2 million contract with New Jersey on July 23, making the Devils his seventh NHL team. Jagr has 681 goals and 1,007 assists for 1,688 points and 959 penalty minutes in 1,391 career regular-season appearances for Pittsburgh, Washington, NY Rangers, Philadelphia, Dallas and Boston.

He's obviously just saying this to cover his **** in case no team wants him (especially with the shrinking cap). He'll play as long as he can get multi-million dollar contracts.

In response to Buc the maroons at SI have had both FN & MMQB farged up for what is it 3 days now You'd think they'd have fired their IT tech by now. I have a feeling they are going to purge the threads again
