07:07 AM ET 08.22 | Born in California's capital, quarterback Seneca Wallace may have another NFL chance in the Golden State. The 49ers have shown interest in [Wallace] and are expected to visit with the veteran free agent, a source told CSNBayArea.com. The 49ers' backup quarterback situation is unsettled with Colt McCoy, Scott Tolzien and rookie B.J. Daniels seeing an equal number of snaps during practices this week, coach Jim Harbaugh said. McCoy is scheduled to enter Sunday's exhibition game against the Minnesota Vikings behind starter Colin Kaepernick, Harbaugh said. Wallace, 33, was cut this week by the New Orleans Saints. He has appeared in 62 games with 21 starts over seven NFL seasons. He did not play in 2012 after being cut by the Cleveland Browns in training camp.

Kaepernick has stepped up and won a spot as #1
BJ Daniels has stepped up and won a spot as #2 or #3

This is really all about McCoy. He either steps up and knocks Tolzien off the roster or he is a goner. Then they will bring in Wallace to try and knock off Tolzien. If neither McCoy or Wallace can step up then I'd say their days in the NFL are over.

Ideally the 49ers want ; #1 Kaepernick, #2 A QB with NFL experience, #3 B.J. Daniels

Dear mods;

Some exemplary fans of various sports utilize this forum to confer amongst those of different fan bases to debate. Sometimes we agree, sometimes not. What we do have in common is we see the advertisements across the viewed screen. We are the ones who either overtly or subliminally are exposed to advertisements. As your existence as an entity in the cyber-world is dependent on income, and the basic paradigm of existence in the dog-eat-dog world of social media is traffic which exposes the advertisers to potential clientele, I'd strongly recommend alleviating the obvious technical problems post haste.

At a minimum, inform your registered users of a time frame upon which the malady affecting your otherwise enjoyable forum.

It is absolutely dumbfounding and, in effect, insulting, that your communication during this catastrophic event is so lacking.

I'd expect better from those who rely on Internet hits for income. As such, when your leaders are applying for a job at Subway to work the late shift, do not be surprised if the next sandwich you order is filled with HTML script.
