07:09 AM ET 08.22 | Barkevious Mingo's absence may be more significant than a Browns fan would like to hear. [Mingo's] bruised lung could keep him out of football for months, considering he was spitting up blood and doesn't recall a sharp blow to the chest, two thoracic surgeons told cleveland.com Wednesday. When the bruise heals, the Browns' rookie linebacker will likely have to undergo a battery of tests to rule out a serious condition. "The fact that he's spitting up blood means it's not a minor contusion," Dr. Philip A. Linden, Chief of Thoracic Surgery at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, said. Linden has not treated Mingo. "There's something significant going on there." Linden said a bruised lung can take anywhere from two weeks to two months to heal, depending on the severity of the contusion.

Not a good injury to have. Affects your breathing and movement. Had it in high school and it tooks months to lose the soreness and breath normally.

Such great posts - such shitty forum software.

Go ahead. Delete my post. If you can. Even the spammers have given up posting.

Deleting posts seems to be the one thing that can still be done around here.

My previous post (#7) was a deliberate provocation to test whether this new, improved forum software on FN is capable of removing posts when a mod wants to do that. Let's see....

Better to be on the sidelines for a few months than in a box underground forever.

And this site still bites.

Hello, anyone from FN/SI: Please hire someone who can fix this site. At least give the users an update on when you expect it fixed.

I don't recall ever seeing anything like this on any popular professional site. One day, sure. Stuff happens, but the pro sites fix it fast. What is this, three days now? Never heard of such a thing. Think SI or ESPN.com would be messed up like this for three days? Not a chance.

All the interns went back to school.
