07:23 AM ET 08.23 | Credit Charlie Weis for making use of untapped resources. One day after taking an unofficial visit to Kansas, former UCLA quarterback T.J. Millweard became the latest transfer to say yes to [Weis]. Millweard, who told Rivals.com of his commitment on Thursday morning, spent last season as a redshirt in the UCLA program and will have three years of eligibility remaining after sitting out this season. ... Weis has collected transfer quarterbacks during his first two years at Kansas, recruiting former top recruits Dayne Crist (Notre Dame) and Jake Heaps (BYU). But for Millweard, KU was more than just a place where he could work under Weis. He spent a large chunk of his childhood growing up in the Kansas City area, watching the KU basketball and football programs up close.

Transfer QB's are easy for Charlie to coach, he just hands them a ball and says "whatever you were doing where you were, do that here"...

Charlie couldn't like transfer QBs better if they were coated in Boston Creme.

What's up with the KU bigwigs? They seem to like HC's who are morbidly obeese. Except for a cup of coffee for Turner Gill the last decade has featured the "heavyweights." Lots of years for "Cannon" (Mark Mangino) and now Charley Tuna Weis... lots of years of mediocrity. The bigwigs must equate size with HC ability! Hope the school doesn't cover the HC meals!
