04:01 PM ET 08.23 | Soon-to-be 13-year NBA veteran Jason Richardson was hopeful he'd be able to suit up with the Philadelphia 76ers this season after playing 33 games for the franchise last year. Richardson underwent knee surgery last year but there was a thought he might be able to play come the early portions of 2014. However, that appears more and more unlikely. Richardson will probably miss the entire season.

So is that organization. Didn't they just finally get a coach; bet that there was a "long line" candidates waiting for that job job opening(sarcasm)

More Money For Nothing, Bro?

Something tells me the Sixers are excited that Jason won't suit up. One, they REALLY want to tank and get the 1st draft choice, and secondly, they can recoup insurance money for Jason. Perfect storm for Sixers.
