Teemu Selanne to discuss future with Ducks

10:12 AM ET 08.24 | Ducks right wing Teemu Selanne will meet with General Manager Bob Murray and Coach Bruce Boudreau next week before deciding whether he will return to the team for his 21st NHL season. Selanne, who turned 43 in July, had a strong start last season but his production declined in the later stages, as did his ice time. He had 12 goals and 24 points in 46 games in the lockout-shortened season. The emergence of several young wingers was a factor in his reduced ice time. Selanne spent much of the summer in his native Finland but returned to Orange County last week and met with Murray last week to discuss his role. With the start of training camp approaching on Sept. 11, Selanne wanted to talk to Boudreau and clarify the coach's plans for him.

Wow, it looks like he's lost weight, maybe down to 160?

Putting up better numbers at 43 than some of those 20 year olds who still belong in triple A.

my friend's ex-wife makes $65 hourly on the internet. She has been fired for 9 months but last month her pay was $15290 just working on the internet for a few hours. Go to this web site and read more>>>> >>>www.jazz77.com

But is she still playing in the NHL at the age of 43?

Don't worry about it, Canuck. Even the experts make a mistake once in a while.

C'mon over Teemu. According to capgeek.com the Jets have 23 players signed and 2.3 mill left under the cap. Some of that depends on who makes the big team though - they haven't bothered to re-sign Hainsey, Wellwood or Antropov. Also seems the only entry levels they're considering keeping up are going to be Schieflie and Trouba (can't see him as ready). Also can't believe the contracts B Little 4.7 x 5 and Toby Enstrom 5.75 x 5 got (both with limited trade clauses?). Don't have a prob with any of the others, but these two got lots to prove.

Lmaorotf! That was telly funny! The GF asked me what was going on down here and I told her they predicted her team, the sister7 from Hongcouver will win a cup one day.

She cried, even she knows that's not gonna happen in her lifetime either.
