07:16 AM ET 08.26 | As many in Red Sox Nation feared, any sort of fast track back on which Clay Buchholz was to a return has hit an early snag -- this won while pitching for Class A Lowell at Hudson Valley on Sunday afternoon [Buchholz] says he feels physically fine, which was his main goal, after walking three batters and allowing one hit in a rehab start for the Lowell Spinners. Buchholz, who was scheduled to throw 40-50 pitches over three innings, didn't get out of the first after throwing 38 pitches to the Hudson Valley Renegades in a New York-Penn League game yesterday at Dutchess Stadium. "I felt good. That was my only concern coming out here and pitching," Buchholz said. ... Of the 38 pitches Buchholz threw, 19 were strikes. Buchholz reached a peak velocity of 89 mph on Dutchess Stadium's radar gun.

It would be nice to get him back to where he was before he went out.
Fresh a fresh and hopefully effective arm in September would help.

I'm sure he was stretching it out and was throwing all fastballs.

Spring training, round 2.
Let's see how long it takes to get back to MLB form; hopefully not until next spring.
