07:17 AM ET 08.27 | Chalk this one up as a happy return. It was a funny moment in Monday's news conference as Bucks center Larry Sanders discussed his four-year, $44 million contract extension. After a few questions from assembled media, a man in a blue sportcoat spoke up. That man was Bucks owner Herb Kohl. "Hey, Larry," Kohl said. "Congratulations. You're quite a bit richer and I'm a little poorer. Tell us about your goals for yourself and the team in the years to come." Sanders, flanked by Bucks general manager John Hammond and coach Larry Drew, didn't miss a beat. "A big team goal for me is unity, undeniable unity," Sanders said. "The brotherhood that has been missing for a couple years, that is a key part of winning, I believe. Just spending time together away from basketball."

The bucks are possibly the least relevant team in the league

Perhaps, but don't sell the Cavs and Bobcats short. The Bucks may be first in that category, but Cleveland and Charlotte are certainly bringing up the rear. AND I DO MEAN THE REAR.

He got overpaid but good for him and dumb for the franchise. He probably would have said yes to $7-8 million per year.

He just blatantly threw Monta, Jennings and whoever their previous coach was, all of them under a speeding hummer.

Wonder how this franchise would have turned out if KAREEM would have stayed in town?

Kareen knew what this franchise was which is why he left in the first place.

The Lakers are even less relevant.

The Bucks were winning division titles back then. He just wanted the bright lights of LA.

He called out Jennings during their asswhooping at the hands of the Heat, about people already thinking about next year.

Apparently Monta took it personally as well.

Good riddance to both of them. Larry Sanders is the man.

USN thinks they will be the 7th seed in the East.

Cool.

I hope "your man" has enough talent to carry you guys to a 25-win season.

But.....could you really blame him?
