07:30 AM ET 08.27 | With the 2013 college football season dawning, another high-stakes game unfolds. NCAA investigators spent a large chunk of Sunday with Johnny Manziel, questioning the Texas A&M quarterback about allegations from memorabilia dealers that he accepted payments for autographs, a source familiar with the investigation told ESPN.com on Monday night. The governing body's officials met Sunday with Manziel, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, for nearly six hours on the College Station, Texas, campus, the source said. It was unclear whether the NCAA was satisfied with the initial meeting with Manziel or if it would require additional time with the redshirt sophomore. Texas A&M's season begins Saturday, at home against Rice.

( I realize this article has nothing to do with Michigan, but it's been a few days since I've had the opportunity to point out their comedic value so why not.)

There is SEC speed, and then there is NCAA slow.

My CFB team got Johnny Manziel autodrafted for me. Now I have to pay attention to this BS to see if I sit him.

August 27, 2013  08:05 AM ET

Let's have a week's worth of NCAA questioning of Manziel -- from September 8 to 13. :P

Cam did not have a personal assistant. Uncle Nate will be the downfall of Johnny Manziel.

The NCAA is not known for its swiftness. Look how long it took them to get their thumbs out of their $^&$ in Kabongo's case.
