02:43 PM ET 08.28 | About a decade ago, eventual Hall of Fame pitcher Roy Halladay suffered a devastating injury similar to that of New York Mets ace Matt Harvey. He never underwent Tommy John surgery and up until this past season, never had much of any issue with his arm or elbow. The New York Mets and general manager Sandy Alderson are hopeful that Harvey will follow a similar path, who is scheduled to be re-evaluated in the next three weeks after resting his arm.
