07:08 AM ET 08.29 | Yes, Jerry Jones may be 70. But the Cowboys owner insists he is as mentally sharp as he was when he bought the team in 1989. A recent visit to the doctor convinced him he has the perspicacity of someone nearly half his age. "I've been told that I have, by CAT Scans, that it's like the brain of a 40-year-old," Jones crowed. " ... The guy really did not know it was me. I was there anonymously. He said, 'And so I just wanted to come down. I saw your chart. I know how old you are. That part is really impressive.'" Whether Jones' claim will reassure fans who have seen the Cowboys win two playoff games in the last 17 seasons is uncertain. But Jones remains confident in his abilities to manage an organization that has failed to earn a Super Bowl title since January 1996.

And a 98 year body.

Yeah, and Elivs was a black belt. You spend enough money you get the answer you want.

I don't think there's been any doubt that J.J.'s brain works... just not when it comes to GM-related stuff.

But he makes a helluva sideline support person.............

He can definitely find ways to make money, but he sure as hell can't make good GM decisions.

So when is he going to use it to replace his own brain?

Too bad he doesn't just stick to that.

I believe that proves the Crypt Keeper gave Jerry the secret of eating brains to keep yourself alive. Someone may want to follow up on all the players that get cut, where do they really go? $1.2 billion could build a heck of a secret laboratory.

A 40 year old with Traumatic Brain Injury, at least when it comes to football decisions. $100 million to Romo? Tee hee.

August 29, 2013  09:00 AM ET

OK, but what you don't have is Jimmy Johnson to stop you from acting on what that brain is telling you to do.

Yes. So, maybe this concern over concussions isn't necessary?

The symptoms of chronic traumatic encephalopathy are remarkably similar to those of having JJ scoop out a spoonful of your cerebral cortex every now and then.

August 29, 2013  09:06 AM ET

So....Jerry would have us believe that all of his cosmetic surgeries - despite making him look like a zombie molded of clay by a grade-schooler - are working to make his brain younger? Sure thing, Jer.

JJ should be worried. This could be a Benjamin Button twist. He could get scanned in a few weeks and is told he has the brain of a 12 year old. The curious Case of JJ?
