01:31 PM ET 08.30 | The Cincinnati Bengals may have lost their best coverage linebacker last night when Emmanuel Lamur dislocated his shoulder and had it popped back into place. While it sounds like a minor injury, the dislocation can actually cause enough damage to the surrounding muscles that the player ends up missing a significant time, which is exactly what the team is fearing. Lamur injured his knee on his second series of the game, and was down on the field for an extended amount of time. Before the injury, Lamur was missing tackles on the first drive of the game, so it was just a bad night for him all-around.

Why didn't the team bother to take him out of the game after he hurt his knee and was down on the ground? It doesn't make since to keep playing a guy who was already hurt in a meaningless pre-season game.

"... Lamur dislocated his shoulder .... Lamur injured his knee .... so it was just a bad night for him all-around."

When you get two separate injuries on the same game and they keep sending you out there for more, I'd say it's one of two things: a) They like you a lot or, b) They hate your guts and are trying to get rid of you. Either way it was a very bad night for him. Nobody can question his heart though.

Then you cut the guy. Obamacare will take care of his injuries on Oct 1st, what's the problem.
