09:39 AM ET 08.31 | Jim Leyland stressed before the Detroit Tigers played the Cleveland Indians on Friday night that Miguel Cabrera would get time off if he needs time off. Cabrera needed some time off after two innings. Cabrera was pulled from the game to start the third inning Friday night and is listed as day-to-day. That removal from the game came one day after Cabrera left a game against the Oakland Athletics after five innings when he aggravated his lingering abdomen injury sliding awkwardly into second base while trying to stretch a single into a double.
