10:12 AM ET 09.01 | If Jim Popp has interest in Tim Tebow, he isn't saying so. Tebow is "just one of the 35 names on the neg (negotiation) list," said the Montreal Alouettes general manager, by text message Saturday. "Really nothing to discuss unless he came to the CFL. Have never had a conversation with him or his agent." Tebow, released in New England, is on the Montreal neg list.

CFL? What's next the arena league? Give it up bro.

I agree. He should give up football all together and play for the Raiders.

Tebow rules. "OK it's 7th down and 7, look for a trick play".

Montreal, don't they have the record holder of every CFL QB record already on their team? I know they hold his CFL rights but I don't think it's to take him, just to keep him out of the league.

Pretty soon he'll be vying for a spot on a weekend pickup league.

I bet his brother won't select Timmy at the Tebow family football game after the Thanksgiving dinner this year.

I thought the CFL was more of a passing game than the NFL; how is TT going to fit in that league?

I agree!!! How in the hell is Tebow going to make it in the CFL??? Don't they only have 3 downs and he isn't a good passer???

SF, you beat me to it!!! :-)

Someone in the NFC South should pick him up, just to clobber Revis twice a year.

He's getting up there in years. He's got an excellent back up though!!

SportsFun is right. There's more passing in both the CFL and AFL. The QB's obviously aren't better passers, but accuracy and getting rid of the ball quickly are just as important in those leagues. Along with his inability to run through NFL progressions, these are Tebow's biggest weaknesses.

Calvillo is injured with another concussion yes? Probably the last snap he'll take.

Tebow might do alright in the CFL, sure there's more passing but the field is wider- more space for his slow NFL brain to compute.

My crystal ball says by this time next month Timmy will be obscure at best. By draft time no one will even remember his name. Three years from now when he's arrested for embezzlement or kid diddling, it'll only warrant two column inches on page 6 of the Boston Globe. Although he will hold third place for the biggest bust in draft picks, behind Jamarcus and the lifetime leader Ryan Leaf.

Tebow should play wherever he can pick up a game check and that might be back at the U of F.

Honourable mention to Bosworth.

I see an arrest for self gratification in a movie theater, a la Pee Wee Herman.

You are harsh, sir.

Harsh, but right.
