10:19 AM ET 09.01 | No one could blame Pam Oliver for not wanting to talk about the most painful moment -- literally -- of her career as Fox's NFL sideline reporter. It happened on Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Meadowlands during pregame warmups when a pass thrown by Colts backup QB Chandler Harnish hit her flush on the side of the face. In the immediate aftermath she refused to read about it, talk about it or watch the video. "Now I want to get it out there. It was a painful, shocking moment," Oliver said in an exclusive interview over the telephone. "I didn't really know what happened." In the days following this flash of pain, neither would anyone else who watched the Internet video. Not the people who thought it was funny. Nor the ones who felt bad for her. Until now, they did not know she suffered a concussion.

She should have known the risks of being on the sidelines. Not making light of her injury but she did put herself in harms way.

So why is she wearing a jacket 5 sizes too small. New concussion symptom?

The reporters becoming the news, again. Get rid of the sideline reporters. Take Gruden with, ya.

It was like he aimed for her.

And then he immediately insisted there was a receiver in the area. Was there a guy right behind her? It looked like he might have ducked out of the way of the ball.

Is she going to sue the NFL too?

Hey, Pam. It sounds like you need a personal protector. I know just the guy.

My first thought was "The Fortune Cookie" with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.

Is she going on the PUP list?

It's football lady. You might want to pay attention while your on the field. Good thing she wasn't on a construction site or at the horse races.

Weird pass though. not a receiver in sight. Oh well, if you're on the sidelines, you take risk. You'll live.

Give her credit, she hung in there afterwards. Also probably explains why Chandler Harnish is a backup QB.

There actually is. But he's pretty well blocked from view in the video.
