Mike Brown has traveled to visit every Cavs player

11:16 AM ET 09.01 | Within three weeks of being hired by the Cavs, coach Mike Brown visited every player on the roster -- in person. Brown and his assistants not only continue to fly all over the country, but all over the world. Brown, or an assistant coach, went with Kyrie Irving on his trips to Australia and Africa, for charity basketball clinics. Someone from the team was with him in Las Vegas, when he played with the USA national team. The point of all this is for the players to get to know the new coaching staff. It also is for the players to know what is expected when they show up for training camp on October 1. Brown believes that the more the players work out with individual coaches and the more they simply spend time together, the faster the team can mature.

Really useless when you have a slow down offense! You got a vey young team so you better run down your opponent and tire them out!

...and teach them how to play defense! Put those young legs to good use.

That should be a given! It's his forte!

Scott's idea of defense was atrocious- Mike Brown will do a good job of getting allt he players on the same page and know that they need to play D in order to get minutes.

As opposed to past Cavs teams of recent years- now if a player lags on defense- he will find himself on the bench since the Cavs actually have some depth

PG- Kyrie, Jack
SG- Waiters, Karasev, Miles
SF- Clark, Gee,
PF- Thompson, Bennett
C- Varejao, Bynum, Zeller

if the young guys do not want to playD they will find themselves on the bench- they will need to earn minutes
