08:00 PM ET 09.01 | Rumors have been swirling that Miami Heat big man Joel Anthony has been placed on the trading block, but if he has it his way he would like to remain with the team. In fact, that is where Anthony has said he would like to finish off his career. It was a long road for Anthony before winding up with the Heat, but he finally found a home and a place where he can win multiple championships.

I forgot that this guy was one the team. What has he ever done to retire as a member of the Miami Heat?

At least the Bird Man helped out the Heat during the playoffs. What did Anthony do? Played a mean game of NBA 2K?

The bench might float right out of the arena if not for Joel holding it down. Really he just means he doesn't want to be involuntarily retired.

I quite frankly like Anthony. But his lack of an offensive game makes him as "Expendable" as Sylvester Stallone.
