07:18 AM ET 09.02 | LaMarcus Aldridge has played each one of his 508 NBA games in Portland, though there has been some speculation about whether he'd like to leave, something he says isn't true. [Q:] Okay. Let's get into it. There was a report that you believed Portland was "too small" and "too boring" of a city. What's your response to that? "Nah, that's not true. I'm a quiet person that keeps to himself, really. Portland doesn't bother me. I don't have an issue with the city of Portland. I've been there my whole career. I like the smallness of it and the passionate fans. That's not true at all." ... [Q:] What's the goal for next season? "Playoffs. I think if we can put the pieces together, we're definitely a playoff team. It'll be tough, but I think we got the guys that can get the job done." What seed? "I think eighth or seventh."

LA Is The Place, Bro.

I'd like to see a trade between the Blazers and Clippers; DeAndre Jordan for LaMarcus Aldridge and "future considerations."

That is a ridiculous trade for both teams....first of all Jordan is at best a above average player....and they already have Griffin....plus the Blaze would get alot more for a top 5 PF like LA

What would the Clippers do with two PFs? Jordan's contract is toxic so I doubt that Portland would bite.

In the proposed scenario Aldridge would play the post--as he often does in Portland.

Neither Griffin nor Jordan offers anything from the low post offensively. The Clippers will be 2nd round knockouts again.

Lofty goals...smh

Paul Allen has got to be one happy owner to know that paying a player in the vicinity of $15M per season would drive said player to have such great goals for his team...

They would need to be a '2nd Round Knockout' once to be it 'Again'

LA is 28 years old...he is a very good player do not get me wrong- but I am not very impressed with his toughness or will to win.

he is not a leader

he cannot be the best guy on a good team

he would be a very solid 2nd best player but if you are going to be a winner this is not the guy to lead your team....

when his contract us up after next year he will be 30 years old and looking for a max deal....whatever team gets him- good luck with that

Smart man. Suggest low and exceed expectations. Most guys would aim high & wind up low making themselves look foolish. The WEST isn't going to be the terror most people believe it will be, so I think Portland with the group of guys that have can place a bit higher.
