Miller a fit in Colorado

07:39 AM ET 09.02 | Might Ryan Miller's career soar again in the Mile High City? The Avs should strike a deal with Buffalo and trade for Miller, the 33-year-old goalie who was named MVP of the hockey tournament at the 2010 Olympics. Colorado has two big problems as a hockey team. In Semyon Varlamov, the Avs might have a competent goalie, but not one capable of carrying a team. Colorado has a surplus of centers, and no matter if you love the steady play of Paul Stastny or find him a ho-hum performer on the ice, it has become increasingly difficult for this team to justify his $6.6 million salary. ... During the past week, rumors began rumbling throughout the league that a Miller-for-Stastny deal makes sense. Well, duh. Both Miller and Stastny are scheduled to be free agents after this season. Why delay?

Does Miller have the patience to work for a new out-of-the-box Coach? Maybe if Roy can refrain from from, "Well I did it this way...."

Haaa! Nice. I don't care where "the intellectual" one goes. He's done little but have one good year, and many others as noticeable as Allan Bester in the AHL.

Happy B-day Hank. Many many many more to you! Btw nice job on the we need you Lou video, it is a big goal out there...... :)

Nothing like a cat with happy birthday wishes... the look says it all.

Happy birthday, Hank!

look what the Avalanche need is a goalie, as since Roy retired they haven't had a comptent guy between the pipes, I mean 1996 why did they win the Stanley Cup, it's because the Candaiens gave up on Roy and his final game the coach leaves him in to allow 8 goals. The Avalanche had the scoring but not a great goalie, Miller if he got in a stable situation would work
